An overzealous film director, his leading lady, and a screenwriter are part of an expedition crew in search of King Kong, the biggest gorilla in the world. But they're all about to underestimate how powerful this mythical creature may be in size and strength.

Recommended listens (in indie and experimental over the last year or so)
- The Arcade Fire Funeral (indie rock) a candian take on lighter experimental indie rock - ( think the Strokes plus My Bloody Valentine plus The Flaming Lips)

-Sigur Ros Takk... (dream pop/ ambient) the icelandic bands follow up to ( ), and it is brighter, and obiviously improved musically ( Mogwai is the closest band to this and its not that close)

-Editors The Back Room (indie rock / post-punk) not for everyone, can become a little droning but superior to The Killers or The Bravery, but doesnt have the lyrical imagination of Interpol's Paul Banks

Random Older Album Worth Looking At
-David Bowie The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and The Spiders from Mars - who thought androdageny sounded so good
Worst CD I Can Think of at the Present Moment
-Weezer Make Believe - it just might be worse than the green album
Empiremovies.com reports that Lindsay Lohan's next film will be one of the independent sort. The film is titled Bobby and is the work of Emilio Estevez- a.k.a the coach from The Mighty Ducks. The story follows characters present at the Ambassador Hotel in L.A. during Robert Kennedy's assasination in 1968. The film includes Hollywood big names such as Elijah Wood, Anthony Hopkins, DemI More, Sharon Stone, Shia LeBeouf, and Nick Cannon, to name a few. Many child actors have strayed towards the indie film scene partly to separate themselves from their past works and also to gain more credential as a substantial 'actor' (i.e., Elijah Wood, McCauhly Caulkin). Could this be the reason for Lohan's shift from Herbie: Fully Loaded to Bobby? I don't know for sure but my point is that she's still hot.
Yes it happened. The White Sox actually did win the World Series for the first time since 1917. Players poured onto the field from the dugout after the Sox won game four 1-0. They completed the sweep against the Astros, after their first World Series appearance ever. The Windy City can finally celebrate a World Series champ. Unfotunately, Houston Astros second baseman Craig Biggio's wife paid the price. During game two in Chicago, Patty Biggio was slapped by a male fan. He had been taunting her and verbally abusing her the entire game and was thrown out after the slap. White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen apologized to the Astros after the game.
Speaking of Ozzie Guillen, he stated in the past that if his team won the World Series, he would retire. Guillen is only 41-years-old, and souces say that he will not retire in the offseason. Only time will tell. For now we can all relax and be happy the Windy City won't be suffering, at least till Winter.

Comedy Central meets the net on Nov 1. With Viacom spreading their children networks to the internet platform, their next big step is bring Comdey Central to the same platform. With sites like MTV's Overdrive, Vh1's Vspot, and Nickelodeon’s TurboNick, now comes the Motherload from Comedy Central. Just like the other sites, this will complement the TV channel's content. But there seems to be more to this venture, with web only orginal content, to viewer submitted content. They will be launching with more than 450 clips of video footage and about 50 to 80 new clips every week. Motherload will initially have six orginal series, including a spoof of Vh1's "I Love the 80s" but it will be " I Love the Thirites."MediaWeek
