American Ambassador Newest Latin Music Sensation?

While he may have made his name as a crusader for transition in Cuba, the now current Ambassador of Paraguay has become the country’s newest music sensation topping the radio charts and selling out concerts.  The unlikely fame can attributed to his decision to learn the native language Guarani, a feat done by very few Americans.  James C Cason, however, may have seemed destined for fame in Paraguay ever since his arrival in 2005 when upon departing from the plane gave a 3 page speech in Guarani stunning both his staff and local reporters.
