CR Exclusive: Joe Biden Joins the Office!
Certified Random has scored an exclusive interview with Joe Biden over his rumored casting on this season of the Office.
CR: You have stated many many many. . .many times that you were born in Scranton often referring to yourself as a "Son of Pennslyvania" did this background influence your decision to appear in The Office?
Biden: Thank you and let me just tell you that as the son of a working family in Scranton Pennslyvania, you know growing up in Scranton, being raised in Scranton, having a childhood in Scranton, spending my youth in a small city in Pennslyvania called Scranton and coming from a blue collar family in Scranton, Pennslyvania I can really relate to the outlook of many of the characters in the Office particularly Jim.
CR: Just for clarity that would be yes it did influence your decision. That is a really interesting point though about how you feel you can relate to the characters notably Jim could you tell us more about that.
Biden: Absolutely, Jim is essentially the single competant normal person in his office since Pam went away to art school in NYC. It's a story line which I feel may have actually been inspired by the story of the struggle of my life. I mean I have taken the amtrak to and from work every day from DC to Delaware for 30 years. I know the struggle of the working class people I am. . .
CR: Sorry to jump in but could you tell us a little more on how the story line of the office may have actually been inspired by your life?
Biden: Its as clear as day. I was like Jim is in the office only in Scranton. I was the only normal person the only even close to competant person in the entire city. . . Heck in the entire state even I mean I left as soon as I could, I never looked back. I guess in that way im actually more like Pam. But man what a shithole. There is a reason we call that place the "armpit" of the northeast those people are so backwards and. .. .
CR: You do realize that this is an interview which is being published.
Biden: Crap I probably shouldnt have said that with the media around.. . .
PART II Coming Soon
(To Include Biden's views on why he was the most "Pennslyvanian" person ever to exist and why his stint on the Scranton Royals came to an abrupt end)

is Scranton really that bad?
is Scranton really that bad? I've never been.
of course you've never been.
of course you've never been. do you even know where Pennsylvania is?
No Scranton is not really
No Scranton is not really that bad although many believe that its glory years are long since past. The city was however referred to as an "armpit" taking a joke off of its location as a valley and generally bleak outlook. This joke became the bases for having Scranton as the city for the Office as some dead end location. The sort of inside joke here though is that the office completely mis-characterizes the city constantly. The show outside of the the opening credits is set in an environment completely different then Scranton. The office like Biden has nothing to do with scranton or pennslyvania for that matter making them a perfect match.
