New World Record Set 47 Surfers on One Board

In Snappers Rocks, Australia a world record has just been broken with 47 surfers catching a wave on a single board. The board was also the longest board ever created at 40 feet  by master shaper Nev Hyman modeled after Dan Wills 5'11" board.  The launch was aided by 30 people carying out the board and pulled out by a jet ski.
