CRIA takes Demonoid Down

After months of threats and a short period of downtown time, the private torrent site Demonoid.com has been shut down. The site only left with this statement for their users: "The CRIA threatened the company renting the servers to us, and because
of this it is not possible to keep the site online. Sorry for the
inconvenience and thanks for your understanding." Recent crackdowns on sites for copyright infringements have effected Tvlinks and OinkMe. The associations behind these attacks call these sites, "for profit criminal enterprises." Currently we are in a transitional point for online media, with the apparently crack down on torrent sites and with the on going WGA strike which is hurting Television in a whole.
