For those who don't know, Thom Yorke is the lead singer of the band Radiohead. This was a surprising time to release a solo project due to the fact that Radiohead is recording a new LP right now but maybe this is a gift for fans who hate to wait. The Eraser delves more into electronica than the band ever did previously and it plays like a Bjork album. Track highlights are "Atoms for Peace" and "The Eraser". My only criticism is that its not a Radiohead album (obviously) and its too melodic and has too much singing and not enough focus on instrumentation
