Roger Clemens 2057
So this is a pretty funny video about Roger Clemens trying to come back to pitch in 2057. Its so funny, its been featured on ESPN. Also, there is a ridiculously funny Cingular commercial featuring Roger Clemens and his wife regarding a dropped call but I can't find it anywhere. He asks his wife if he could come back and play another season and all she has to say is no and he won't, however the call drops and he plays. Well hopefully one of you can find it.
Steinbrenner tells Guillen "Callate la Boca!"
New York Yankees onwner George Steinbrenner is upset with Ozzie Guillens comments againest Alex Rodriguez and believes he needs to shut his mouth. Guillen is the manager of the new World Series champs Chicago White Sox. He criticized A-Rod for not being able to make up his mind about who he'll play for in the upcoming World Baseball Classic. A-Rod was born in the U.S. but his parents are both Dominican. He first chose to play for the Domincan Republic and is now going to play for the U.S. Although Guillen later apologized for his comments, Steinbrenner was still upset over the comments made againest his MVP. Steinbrenner is also upset that he has not gotten his calzone yet from George Costanza.ESPN
White Sox win first World Series since 1917; Biggio's wife slapped
Yes it happened. The White Sox actually did win the World Series for the first time since 1917. Players poured onto the field from the dugout after the Sox won game four 1-0. They completed the sweep against the Astros, after their first World Series appearance ever. The Windy City can finally celebrate a World Series champ. Unfotunately, Houston Astros second baseman Craig Biggio's wife paid the price. During game two in Chicago, Patty Biggio was slapped by a male fan. He had been taunting her and verbally abusing her the entire game and was thrown out after the slap. White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen apologized to the Astros after the game.
Speaking of Ozzie Guillen, he stated in the past that if his team won the World Series, he would retire. Guillen is only 41-years-old, and souces say that he will not retire in the offseason. Only time will tell. For now we can all relax and be happy the Windy City won't be suffering, at least till Winter.
